We anticipate water temperatures in Sand Hollow Reservoir for the Ironman St. George to be in the low 60's.
This will be a pretty cold swim and we definitely recommend a full wetsuit. We also recommend you seriously consider wearing a thermal neoprene swim cap (underneath your standard event swim cap) to lessen the energy your body needs to expend to keep up your core temperature.
